The help center isn't the cost. Keeping it true is.
Two bills come from screenshots that stopped matching the product: the tickets they cause, and the hours your team spends fixing them. Put your numbers in.
Tickets you stop getting
“That’s not what I see on my screen.” Fix the picture and the ticket doesn’t happen.
Agent time, tooling and overhead. $20–$40 is typical for B2B SaaS.
Hours you stop spending
Walking the app, cropping, annotating, re-uploading.
Customers you keep
Documentation rarely ends a subscription alone. It’s one friction in the pile.

Every figure above is yours to change
The defaults are starting points, not claims about your team. If a number looks generous, lower it; the maths is simple enough to check by hand.
- Each line is quantity × rate × 12. Nothing is weighted, discounted or compounded.
- Tickets caused by a wrong screenshot stop happening once the screenshot is right, so there is no deflection rate to apply. There is a lag: a release breaks a screenshot, and the overnight check is what catches it.
- Retained revenue counts one month per customer, not their lifetime. It is the conservative reading on purpose.
- Net saving subtracts a full year of your plan at list price. Nothing here assumes you buy annually or negotiate.
- Your plan needs enough monthly screenshots to cover your help center. The audit in the free trial tells you how many that is, before you pay anything.
